Probus members from throughout Bangor joined the Rotary Club of Bangor in an Act of Remembrance on Wednesday 9th November.

Led by war veteran Morrell Murphy, and with buglers Brian and Gary Hall providing the poignancy for the event, the Act of Remembrance has become a mainstay of the Club’s calendar.

Out thanks to PP Bill Aiken for once again organising the event.

Between the Act of Remembrance and lunch, our guest speaker, Rebecca Gordon, gave us some background to the life of local war hero Rear Admiral The Honorable EBS Bingham VC.
