Bangor Rotary Charity 30th Charity Breakfast a success

President Patrick welcomed the Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Jennifer Gilmour and the Lord Lieutenant of Down as the special guests to the 30th Bangor Rotary Club Annual Charity Breakfast.

In a room filled with corporate supporters and guests, the Lord Lieutenant gave a Keynote Speech in which he outlined the history of the role of Lords Lieuthenant and their present-day responsibilities which include encouraging visits from members of the Royal Household and welcoming heads of state to their County.

Ann Wilson was the winner of the draw generously provided by Broadway Catering.

The proceeds of the Charity Breakfast will be distributed to the Alzheimer’s Society and Rotary Foundation Charities.
