Bangor Rotary and the four Bangor-based post-primary schools (Bangor Academy & Sixth Form College, Glenlola Collegiate, St Columbanus College and Bangor Grammar School) will create history when they present their combined schools concert at Bangor Academy on Tuesday 4th April.

The concert – which will be the first time that all four schools have come together in this way, and aptly named ‘Raise the Roof – will showcase the incredibly high level of musical talent from each of the schools including choirs, jazz and rock bands, traditional Irish music groups and dancers, pipers, soloists …. and blue bins!

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the YMCA specifically to support their outreach work with young people at risk in central Bangor. As such, Bangor Rotary Club has extended a huge thank you to Bangor Academy head teacher Matthew Pitts who has generously opened his school to this event at no cost.
