Following DG Jack Cunningham’s October appeal, for Clubs to collect as many old and unused notes and coins as possible to fund the Special Olympics in Ireland (see pic.), Bangor Rotarians exceeded all expectations in their contribution. Although we have yet to hear the monetary value of the coins etc collected, Brian Hall has reported a delivery to the Ulster Bank, from our Rotarians , Inner Wheel and Probus friends, of notes and coins weighing in excess of 23 kilos!! Thank you everyone and a big thanks to Brian who is resting after his labours.
