After Tropical Storm Dineo hit Mozambique earlier this year, the Category 1 hurricane on the international Saffir-Simpson scale, with winds registered at 130km/h, generated waves 6 metres high in the Mozambique Channel.

The devastation was widespread and ShelterBox moved into action to bring much needed aid.

Nicola Hinds was a member of the team sent to the area and she described in detail the difficulties presented in travel and bringing aid along with stories of success and help delivered by the ShelterBox teams.
