Recently Bangor Rotary heard David Lyle OBE speak on his work in advertising in combatting terrorism and promoting peace. This was the subject of an hour-long BBC TV documentary earlier this year. The campaign lasted from 1988 to 1999 and David believes that it was effective in reducing the support for terrorism and advancing the peace process.The photograph shows David (right) with Bill Aiken, the President of Bangor Rotary Club.
