Not only is RotaryVice President, Ian Wilson’s new book – on the sinking of HMS Drake – a ‘good read’ , it is also proving to be a nicer little earner for the local RNLI. During a recent talk on the subject, at a meeting of the Club, Ian sold copies of his book to fellow Rotarians. A percentage of the proceeds, amounting to £42, was presented by Ian to RNLI crew member Ewan Rathbone -Scott during a trip round Ballyholme Bay on ‘Ocean Crest’.
