Virtual Bring Your Own Turkey Christmas Lunch

This year Christmas will be a little different to years gone by: No children wellying-into the Black Bush or grandchildren demanding to watch the final of Strictly Come Dancing  –YIPEE!

Yes, this year Christmas dinner will be just you and whoever is at the other end of your Christmas Cracker!

But even in this difficult circumstance, the Rotary Club of Bangor pulls through and brings you the first-ever Bring Your Own Turkey Virtual Christmas Lunch.

Enjoy lunch in the company of friends on this special Zoom meeting. Nothing says Christmas more than watching 25 Rotarians online stuffing their gobs with turkey and sprouts!

And as if that wasn’t enough, we’ll even have a Christmas Quiz from our Quiz Master extraordinaire, PP Bill Aiken! There is a bottle of champagne, donated by PPPaul Megarity, for the winner of the quiz.

So get it in the diary, boil the turkey, fry off a few sausages, fire up the laptop and let’s make Christmas 2020 one to remember!

• It is requested that those taking part make a donation of £10 to the selected charity, via Bill Aiken, by cheque or cash.
• A charity is yet to be named but will be decided at the Dec council meeting.
