What you really need is a salad – and yes, with chips (or should I say, frites!)

These will beautifully compliment the two hours of reminiscences and shared experiences of our Past President and much-revered Hon Secretary, Stephen Connolly, as he takes us along the highways and byways of his beloved France.

Stephen has spent many weeks enjoying la belle vie en France, and has been threatening for some time to regale us with his many adventures. From de Gaulle to Macron*, Stephen has met them all, and now  – from our own ‘Man in Paris’ – you can too.

(*Please note that these are Jules de Gaulle (baker)  and Robert Macron (unemployed), and should not be confused with French Presidents of similar names.)
