Bangor Rotarians visit to Daisy Lodge, Newcastle GALLERY

| June 18, 2015

The wonderful respite facility at Daisy Lodge, near Newcastle, which the club visited on 17 June.

Members , partners and friends were thoroughly bowled over by  Daisy Lodge and the dedicated work of the staff bringing relaxation to families of children with cancer.

The Rotary movement in Ireland has supported Daisy Lodge, which was opened in 2014 by Rory McIlroy, a generous benefactor.  We enjoyed a guided tour and then a splendid lunch, with panoramic views of the Mournes!
