As one of his final duties in office, President James O’Fee was pleased to be able to celebrate the service that Past District Governor Edwin Dunlop has given to Rotary over the past 50 years.
Joining Bangor Rotary in 1968, Edwin was elected President for the 1971-72 year before going on to serve as District Governor for Ireland and be the driving force behind the creation and development of Probus on the island.
In his remarks, Edwin confirmed his continued commitment to serving the Club.
Friends from neighbouring Clubs of Donaghadee and North Down also joined Bangor Rotarians in congratulating Edwin on reaching this landmark.
