Bangor Rotary takes the pressure off Bangor

| June 11, 2018

Working with the Stroke Association, Bangor Rotarians braved the early summer sun to run a Blood Pressure Testing Unit as part of the recent Sea Bangor event in the town.

With medics at hand, visitors of all ages took the opportunity to have their blood pressure taken and left with advice on what to do next if the results showed reasons to be concerned.

High blood pressure has no symptoms, but is a killer and Bangor Rotary was pleased to be able to put many minds at rest while encouraging everybody to be mindful of their health.

The event was organised by President James O’Fee
