Bangor Rotary selects Youth Leadership finalists

Having completed the in-school interview stage of the Youth Leadership Competition, three finalists faced the Judging Panel of President Margaret Francey and Rotarians Barbara Boyle and Andrew Young in the Club Final on Thursday 10th November.

The three finalists – Andrew Brown (Bangor Grammar School), Jessica Audley and Ruby Monaghan (Glenlola Collegiate) – underwent 25-minute interviews with questions ranging from their knowledge of leadership skills to European and local issues with all three competitors providing outstanding responses.

During their deliberations and feedback to the competitors, judges recognised the skills and knowledge of all three and acknowledged their genuine difficulty in selecting the winners.

Ultimately, the Rotary Club of Bangor Youth Leadership Winners for 2022 were Andrew Brown and Jessica Audley who will now go forward to represent the Club at the Zone One Final on November 23rd to be hosted at Bangor Golf Club by the Rotary Club of Bangor.
