This morning the Rotary Club of Bangor joined forces with staff from Ards and North Down Borough Council for the planting of 4,000 crocus corms in the grounds of Castle Park.
The event was a fund raiser by Rotarians with all monies raised dedicated to assist the elimination of polio. Over the last thirty five years such fund raising initiatives have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries”
“We look forward to Spring when our efforts will be rewarded with a rich display of unequaled colour for visitors to the park to enjoy.
