Athlete and author John McCreedy presents a copy of his new book ‘Running Away’ to Club President Ian Wilson.
Speaking to the Rotarians, middle-distance runner John said the book tells the story of his life growing up in Bangor during the troubles and how he escaped the conflict to take up an athletic scholarship at an American University.
John, who had a previous career in sports journalism and broadcasting, is the author of eight books.
