Writing from Dublin where he was in transit to Istanbul for European Cycling Union Congress, Jack Watson MBE wrote, “I have attached a photo of Rea and I after my investiture at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
“The Investiture was carried out by Prince William and we were accompanied by son Paul and his wife Yvonne.
“In the afternoon Lady Sylvia Hermon entertained us with Afternoon Tea in the Houses of Parliament and a visit to both Houses, and the evening finished of with our attendance to the musical Wicked.
“All in all a most memorable day.”
