SUMMARY:Bangor Remembrance Event
DESCRIPTION:The  Bangor Rotary Annual Service of Remembrance will be held in Bangor Golf Club on Wednesday 13 November 2022 at 12.30pm . \nFollowing an Act of Remembrance\, lunch will be served  consisting of soup and sandwiches\, coffee or tea. \nCatering costs are £12 per person which will include a staff gratuity. \nThere will be a retiring collection for the Royal British Legion which has supported service men and women\, veterans and their families since just after WW1. \nWe are pleased to have as guest speaker Alan Cook\, Rotarian from North Down Club\, whose grandfather commanded a steamer which successfully rescued approximately seven thousand British and Allied soldiers off the beach at Dunkirk. \nIn addition\, two members from each of the local Probus Clubs will be invited to attend\, as guests of the club. \nPlease make an effort to attend this important event in our Rotary calendar and bring along guest(s) if you so wish. \nFor catering purposes it is important to inform PP Ian Wilson if you are able to attend\, along with the number(s) of accompanying friends or family.
