DESCRIPTION:The Helen’s Bay Players production of  \nInspector Drake’s Last Case by David Tristram \nFriday 15 January 2016 @ 8.00pm in St John’s Hall\, Fort Road\, Helen’s Bay \nMrs Gagarin has been murdered\, leaving behind her son\, a couple of house guests\, one called Butler\, another called Duck\, and a rather odd household including Guest the butler\, Gardener the cook and Cook the gardener. \nEnter two policemen\, Sergeant Plod and his boss\, Inspector Drake\, the eponymous ‘hero’\, who appear to rival each other in their  incompetence\, and who try to solve a crime which seems ever more complex the more they investigate. \nBut are they actually as incompetent as they look? How the crime is solved is highly improbable\, rather silly and occasionally rude\, so be warned. \nThis is not a play for intellectuals nor those who like their crimes to be solved rationally and logically. \nCost £10 (including\, especially for Rotarians\, a contribution of £2 to add to the Club’s charitable fund raising).
