DESCRIPTION:Join us at Bangor Golf Club for the biggest day of the year as we say thank you to President Patrick and his team who have led us so successfully through this year of pandemic\, and welcome incoming President Stephen Connolly and his team who will hopefully lead us through the tail end of the crisis and into the sunny uplands of 2021/22.\nMEETING AT BANGOR GOLF CLUB\n\nPlease note the following information to help facilitate this meeting\nFace to Face Rotary Hand Over Meeting 30th June 2021 SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS \nJust an update on our first face-to-face meeting on the 30th June which will not only be the formal hand over from outgoing President Patrick to incoming President Stephen but also cheques will be handed over to our charity recipients. And of course it will be strange at first as we have not had a face-to-face meeting for many many months. \nLocation of Meeting\nThe downstairs Broadway Room in the Golf Club has been offered and accepted as our meeting room and it should be adequate in size to allow 6 to a table. This will also facilitate the caterers as meals will not have to be carried upstairs and lastly it will help any members and guests with a possible mobility problem. \nCost of lunch increase\nUnfortunately the new caterer has found it necessary to increase the meal price to £10 from £9 and those who have difficulties with their 50p will have to learn to live with it as the total cost to include the gratuity will be £10.50. So please endeavour to have a 50p in your pocket to make things less complicated for those collecting the lunch money. Don’t forget some months it will be your turn. \nThe agreed meal for this first meeting will be battered fish\, chips and mushy peas followed by tea or coffee. The caterer will entertain a salad as an alternative provided he is advised a day in advance. This could be subject to a change once the caterer becomes confident in working with the club. \nCOVID precautions\nOn entering the Golf Club members and guests MUST wear a face mask and go direct to the Broadway Room\, turn right at the end of the hallway with the stairs on your left.
